Though similarly bitten by the tea green leafhopper (tea jassid), unlike traditional black tea production processes, Mixiang black tea undergoes “post-fermentation” without stir-roasting to retard oxidation processes. This allows the tea to develop a unique honey scent that ages with time and lingers refreshingly in the mouth.
