  • July 2012

Huang Po-Chun studied the case of Japanese Toyooka Oriental White Stork rice, and proposed a business model that puts emphasis on habitat preservation and agriculture, and named it "Taiwan Bluemagpie Tea".

  • March 2013 

The first group of tea farmers joined "Taiwan Bluemagpie Tea.", including Lin Dao-Xian, Lin Wen-Wang, Chen Jun-Jie, and Fu Lian-Fu.

  • June 2014

Huang Po-Chun took out NT$2 million loan and bought all the eco-farmed spring tea as the dealer broke promises on the eve of delivery. 

  • September 2015

Became one of the first social enterprises which passed the review by Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs.

  • November 2015

Beijing Office of World Wide Fund for Nature visited our Taipei office. It’s the beginning of our international exchange.

  • June 2016

Proposed the strategy of “River Basin Recovery", and won the entrepreneurship award from the Taipei City Industry Development Bureau through a watershed planning contract model.

  • August 2016

Carrefour Culture and Education Foundation adopted some contract farming products, the starting point of a business model that collaborates with large enterprises.

  • October 2016

Completed crowdfunding on FlyingV. Three tea gardens in the Shangde Catchment Area, a tributary of Beishi River, were farmed without pesticide.

  • December 2016

Won the gold medal in Chang Tien-Fu and Wu Chen-To Cross Strait Oolong Tea Competition.

  • September 2017

Chief Operating Officer of the Citi Foundation, Florencia Spangaro, visited and experience tea plucking in the tea plantation adopted of Citi.

  • December 2017

Completed the calculation of Friendship and turning it into a carbon credit for tea gardens, and launching carbon negative products through carbon rights purchases.

  • May 2018

Awarded two-star Superior Taste Award by the International Taste Institute (formerly iTQi)

  • October 2018

Became a member of One Percent for the Planet, an organization of earth tax movement.

  • November 2018

"Fongsuwo Taiwan LeopardCat Rice” was founded.

  • March 2019

Received a subsidy from the Rural Regeneration New Countryside Demonstration Project from the Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture.

 

  • February 2020:

Installed 3 micro weather stations in the mountains of Pinglin, to serve as a decision-making system for assessing microclimates and establishing a watershed flavor wheel profiling system.

  • May 2020:

Taiwan Blue Magpie Tea is officially selected as a souvenir for the presidential inauguration on May 20 and Taiwan National Day.

  • September 2020:

Organized the 5-month "Watershed Creation Lecture” event and exhibition series at Huashan 1914 Creative Park, exploring curation as an eco-brand. 

  • May 2021:

Brown Sugar Brown Rice Crisp received the 2021 ITI Superior Taste Award 3-star award in Belgium

  • June 2021:

Became the first The Food and Agriculture Education Social Innovation Industry in Taiwan to publish an ESG annual report.

  • October 2021:

The third product brand Russet Sparrow Millet, was introduced.

  • January 2022:

Both Honey Fragrance Black Tea and Brown Sugar Brown Rice Fragrance Tea received the 2022 ITI Superior Taste Award 3-star award in Belgium.

  • January 2022:

BlueMagpie Tea Social Enterprise Co. Ltd. obtained the international B-Corp certification.

  • May 2022:

Taiwan Blue Magpie Tea received the 2022 Asia Pacific Social Innovation Cooperation Award (APSIPA) in the Environmental Sustainability category for the Beishi River Watershed Project.
