HSU Jing-You
A-You often self-deprecatingly calls himself a trifold teacher: a Taiwanese language teacher at Yuguang Elementary School, a tea practitioner, and the general manager of Nanshan Temple. From his tea fields, you can see Dashe Lake, distant mountains, and countless trees. It is a scene of natural beauty.
A-You is also a lecturer often sought out by consumers for environmental education walks and professional tea learning sessions. His talks are lively and thought-provoking, drawing neophytes into an extended stay in the mountains to unravel the mysteries of tea.
HSU Tsong-Ming
97-year-old HSU Tsong-Ming is the oldest tea farmer of Blue Magpie Tea. In 2017, we signed up a company to sponsor Tsong-Ming’s organic tea fields, so that he can grow tea without worry. Every time HSU patrols the tea fields, he mentions how he often sees the crested serpent eagle hovering above his tea fields. Thus he named his land the Crested Eagle Tea Fields. His Chingshin Oolong Paochung Tea carries the fragrance of the local habitats.
