坪林漁光地區地圖翻開，有一地名為茄苳潭。果不其然，這老茄苳挺拔鶴立，遠遠在北42道路上就可見。

依據當地耆老的訪談，說這老樹已有200年以上的歷史，早在成為茶鄉之前，就已靜靜看著如雲煙變換的坪林地景。

According to the local elders, this tree is already more than 200 years old.

the transformation of the landscape in Pinglin.
